News Update; Two Nigerian Air Force jets crash in Abuja

Two Nigeria Air Force aircraft suffered a mishap in the Katampe area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja , today Friday 28 September 2018.

The news reaching us is that two aircraft belonging to Nigerian air force which were taking part in the rehearsals for preparation of the 58th Independence Day celebrations reportedly collided and a crash.

As at the time of filling this reports, the number of people injured in these sad incident could not ascertained.

efforts were still ongoing by the military personal to attend to the incident.

The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola , that confirmed the incident , reveal that there were no lost of lives in the incident .

This statement said as follows

“I wish to confirm an air incident involving two NAF aircraft taking part in the 58th Independence Day celebrations . Thankfully , no lives were lost ,” he said.
