The independent national electoral commission on friday said that the commission is ready for national assembly and presidential election in gombe state.
According to residential electoral commissioner in the state Mr Umar Ibrahim’ disclose this to news men that the commission have received all sensitive material for the state and are currently being distributed to various local government area in the state.
Mr ibrahim said that the sensitive material for 6 out of 11 local government area of the state has already been sent out , he further said that he was doing everything humanly possible to have free and fair distribution of the material before Saturday morning.
Here is the statement of Mr Ibrahim;
The statement read; The situation in gombe state is fine we have received all material required and its distribution had commence, in fact almost six out of the 11 local government area material has gone out to the registration area we are set for tomorrow election all the ballot paper we have received so far we don’t have any challenge whatsoever we are not running behind schedule because we are not late in our distribution the security arrangement is perfect.
In each local government our installation office and zonal store are being guided by security personnel he said, there is no hiding agenda in the distribution of the materials all political parties agent were here and have observe all activities, and everything is going on smoothly.
