Ndifreke Akpekong wrote; as Akwa IBOM make history as the first state in Africa to own commercial plain

Ndifreke Akpekong share information on his Facebook page commending the state Akwa state Governor for work Weldon as he make he commissioned first ever commercial state plain in Africa.

According to him;

Donald Duke took Cross River state to a new level, he gave them an identity and people were proud to be Cross Riverian. He introduced what had never been in this country, “calabar carnival” and Cross River state was known to be clean and green.
Udom Emmanuel on February 20,2019 has made history in Nigeria, the first state with commercial airlines. Our beloved country launch a LOGO, but Udom bought aircrafts not one, not two but three.
We have seen it, and we celebrate it.
Many questions may arise like:
What about the poor and needy. This is not new

But Judas Iscariot, the disciple who would soon betray him, said,
5 “That perfume was worth a year’s wages. It should have been sold and the money given to the poor.”
6 Not that he cared for the poor—he was a thief, and since he was in charge of the disciples’ money, he often stole some for himself.
7 Jesus replied, “Leave her alone. She did this in preparation for my burial. 8 You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me.”

Friends there is something call “mutual impoverishment.” You must rise to a certain level to be able to help more people.
1. A business person knows that going to Lagos from Akwa Ibom, you cannot return back on the same day to catch up with other appointments.
2. If this was in existence, in my own thinking ExxonMobil may not have had a plane to bring people to Eket.
3. The people not just from Akwa Ibom, all the States in the South South will benefit from it. It means more airport taxis and other economic activities in and around the airport.
