Bassa kwomu Militias as early hours these morning 8 march 2019 attacked Sheria communities, in Bassa local government area (LGA) of Kogi state.
The community is predominantly inhabitants of Egbura koto peoples.
The attacked led to destruction of properties worth millions of Naira, and killing a yet to be identify numbers of peoples.
To confirmed the incident, a called put through to a member of the community confirmed that yes there was an attacks these morning by Bassa kwomu militias, but as we speak now Egbura are now defending themselves, in the process of defending themselves, Bassa kwomu has killed one of the Egbura youth.
Also he said the bridge that connect the villages to the capital city Lokoja has been raise down by the Militias,
But a called has been put through to securities personal hope they will come as rescue them, and when the securities personal are on grounds, the fight will come down.
