Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Senior lecturer Dr. Nnamdi Ogueche, has been murdered in a cold blood by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Enugu State.
Accoding to information, Dr. Ogeche was murdered along Ezeagu- Umulokpa Uzo-uwani road in the Enugu State.
Shortly before his death, Ogueche was said to have presided over a peace meeting between his kinsmen of Adada town Uzo-Uwani and Fulani herdsmen.
Omokoshaban.com further learn that the slain University lecturer is an Administrative Secretary of Uzo- Uwani LGA, Enugu State.
The senior lecturer who was 40 years old is a married man with three children, two girls and a boy.
Confirming the development,Enugu State police Commissioner, Suleiman Balarabe, confirmed the incident while dressing the press at the Headquarters of the State Police Command on Thursday.
Balarabe described the incident as shocking, the investigation is ongoing.
He further explain that police is yet to confirmed if Fulani herdsmen carried out the heinous killing.
