Kaduna State Established Sexual Assault Referral center across the State

Kaduna State government has establish center for sexual assault referral across the State.

The establish Centres include, the following Hospitals :
1. Gwamna Awan General Hospital, Kakuri.
2. Yusuf Dantsoho Hospital, Tudun Wada,
3. Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Zaria
4. Patrick Yakowa Memorial Hospital, Kafanchan.

The center is to serve as place where sexually related assault case will be refer to, and necessary treatment and counseling given to the victims.

In conformations of the development, Kaduna state governor tweets the picture of the newly establish center shown below wit a caption.

Accoding to his tweet “The KDSG has established four Sexual Assault Referral Centres across the state, at the following Hospitals :
– Gwamna Awan General Hospital, Kakuri.
– Yusuf Dantsoho Hospital, Tudun Wada,
– Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Zaria
– Patrick Yakowa Memorial Hospital, Kafanchan.

These Centres provide
psycho-social counseling, forensic examination, medical treatment and legal services for victims of sexual assault”.
