Chief John Nnia Nwodo has said that their support for Atiku Abubakar, is not because he is members of People Democratic Party (PDP), instead they support him because of his promised to restructure Nigeria.
According Nwodo, “We did not support Atiku Abubakar because he was a member of the PDP – rather we endorsed him because he wanted to restructure the country-Chief.
“We have no regrets not supporting Buhari.
We are not making any demands from him”.
In his statement about Buhari being reelected, he said Buhari cannot do anything in Nigerian, because he cannot achieved what he did do on his first term.
Nwodo said, “What he cannot do during his first term, you cannot expect him to do that in the second term.
“His actions, statements and body language shows that he does not mean well for Ndigbo. So,we are not expecting anything from him”.
