Nasrawa wife Journalist, and others Abducted regain freedom

The wife of a journalist and others kidnapped in Nasarawa state regain Freedom.

Mrs Yahanasu Abubakar a wife of members of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), and three other woman who were kidnapped few days ago set free by there abductor’s.

They were abducted on Wednesday after gunmen attacked their vehicle along the Gudi-Garaku road in Akwanga Local Government Area of the state while they were on their way to Lafia, the state capital.

According to The report, the unknown gunmen was said to be over 20, attacked their vehicle who is conveying the women from Keffi, where she had gone to register for the Batch A Corps at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp.

The abductor’s was said to has shot sporadically in the air some metres away from a police checkpoint before finally take the women away.

While filling these report, it is not clear either ransom was paid before she was set free.
