A Lady has carried out of the high level of girls getting pregnant for boys this days without them been married properly in Okene Kogi State Nigeria.
Hajara Mohammad, who did not even spars her families said, she notice something has change in the pas 15 years since she travel to Okene last. According to her she said on her visit to home recently found out that many girls including some of her families members were pregnant for boys, and are living together as husband and wife without the boy performing the marriage right on their head.
She also, point out that some boys even went ahead to keep up to three girls without paying their bride price and they are proud of it.
Hajara post read, “am sorry if you are going to be offended with what am about to say!I went to okene last two months I observed something’s, for the past 15years I have not been there. I noticed this in almost all the places I visited, both in my family and neibors, that’s some girls got pregnant for some so call boys and are proud of staying with them with out paying their bride price if you ask their parents what about this person they will just answer you straight , she in her husbands house without shame, also some men too keep like three to four of those girls and proud with it that they have three wife without bride price. Am surprised, although am not born and brought up in okene but my mum use to tell me the meaning of Ebira is good character, precious person wordy to emulate. am surprised”.
