Akwa Ibom State Government Signed N19 billion contract with world Bank to tackle erosion in the State

Akwa Ibom State Government has signed a N19 billion contract in partnership with World Bank to tackles erosion in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State capital.

The information was reveal by Nsikan Etebia, according to the report, the project will arrest flooding within Ibrahim Babangida (IBB) ways, and others area in the city that is prone to erosion.

Etebia post read, “The Akwa Ibom State government in partnership with World Bank has awarded contract for an erosion control project worth 19 billion Naira to de-flood IBB Way and adjoining areas prone to flooding within Uyo, the state capital”.
