Federal of Nig. Government declared may 1st public Holiday

Federal government of Nigeria has declared may 1st 2019 Public Holiday to Honour Nigerians workers.

The declaration was made today Monday, April 29, by Lt-Gen Abdulrahman Dambazau, the interior minister of the country on behalf of the Federal government of Nigeria, via statement released by Georgina Ehuriah, his permanent secretary.

According Dambazu, he said May 1 was declared public holiday to honour the civil servants that will be celebrating 2019 workers days.

On the statement, the minister congratulate Nigerian workers to remains resolute in their sacrifice in the nation building, he also commend the workers for their effort that lead to the implementation of N30,000 Minimum wage. He plead with the workers to continue to support Nigerians government’s struggle to re-positioning the Nigerian economy that will move the to the ‘Next Level’. He wished the workers a successful May Day celebration.
