I will not own you salaries Dr. Omede Promise Kogi workers

One of the Kogi State Governorship aspirant has promise Kogi workers not to owe them salaries if elected as the Governor of kogi State.

Dr Omede Idris former president of Nigerian Medical Association of Nigeria (NMA) said he will treat all Kogi workers with care and respect if he is elected as Kogi Governor come 2nd 2019.

Dr. Idris said these while commemorating this year’s Workers Day.

Idris fill the hardship Governor Bello had subject kogi workers into, said “shameful and pitiable conditions the very hardworking people of Kogi state have been subjected to.”

Dr. Idris who is contesting for kogi State Governorship seat under the platform of People Democratic Party (PDP) is 75% sure that he will secure the party ticket.

He said: “I am a medical doctor. I care. Doctors and other health workers are known for caring. I want to care for my people in Kogi state. They have seen the worst of dehumanization under the present regime in the state. I am restoring happiness to hearts of our people. I am bringing development, job creation, security, power and good governance to our dear state.

“It is clear to any right-thinking individuals the kind of crises that have befallen workers Kogi state. It has never happened. And, the people of Kogi state will never see this again.

“How can workers who are not paid for this long period of time make meaningful contributions to their state? These are people with children in different levels of educational institutions. How will they fend for their families? How do you expect them to have that sense of belonging to their state?”
