The Royal family of Tommey Ikott in Afia Nsit village in Eket LGA has taken the 33yrs anniversary of their late mother, Oluwamodupe Tommey Ikott, to the Motherless babies homes in Eket for celebration.
Billionaire Scott Tommey, led other members of the family including the Councilor representing Ward 2 Central in Eket, Hon. Akaninyene Tommey Ikott, to give to the children in different centers after a brief breakfast session at the family compound in Afia Nsit.
While presenting the gift items, Scott advised the caretakers at different children centers to ensure that the items are fairly used for the well-being of the children.
Late Oluwamodupe Tommey (Nee:Owolabi) was born on the 15th of September, 1951 and passed on to eternal glory on 5th May, 1986.
Among those who graced the occasion is the State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic party, Barr. Ini Ememobong, Obongiwaad Emman Mbong, Eket Chapter Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Kufre Imo Ekpe, Leader, Eket Legislative council, and a host of other prominent figure in the society.
