Adeleke Appears In Court, Objects Arraignment.

Senator Ademola Adeleke has appeared in court following his arrest yesterday Monday by the Nigerian Police.

Senator Adeleke was said to have arrived at the Magistrate Court in Abuja today morning was docked and is objecting his arraignment.

Upon his arrival l, he was however docked at the court and is objecting to his arraignment.

Counsel to the police disclosed that the senator is ready to proceed with the case but his Counsel (Adeleke), Chris Adebiyi is objecting the arraignment.

He said Osun State Federal High Court in has give an order stopping the police from arresting the lawmaker and that the court also gave him leave to travel to the US on the account medical quick up.

He said the Federal High Court ordered, asked the defendant to answer to their invitation but the court ordered that the first defendant return his passport to the court three days after his return.

Mr Adebiyi narrate that the court ordered that the police should not arrest Adeleke upon honouring the police invitation.

He said a High Court in Osun state also confirmed and upheld the order.
