An elderly man was yesterday kidnapped in Toto community local government council of Nasarawa State.
The report has it that quick intervention of the community vigilante led to the rescue of the kidnapped man.
According to information made available to us said
Toto page said “Yesterday in Toto town some recalcitrants element popularly known as Kidnappers storm Adagu Street, an old settlement where the existing Abattoir is situated came under heavy attacks which lead to kidnapped of an enderly man whose name is Mr. Ibrahim a retired veteran teacher.
Immediately after the kidnapped the assailants took their heels to the bush where a ransom will be placed on the victim and unfortunately for them Toto is a place where nonsense is never condone or accommodated.
The Vigilante Group were mobilised to go after them and the result was positive with rescued accomplished.
An eye witnessed who confide to this medium, Abdulwahab Idris Adagu gives thanks to God for coming to their aide and putting those evil men to shame.
According to him the situation would have been negative but for timely intervention of the youth particularly Vigilante Group the assailants were put under control. Idris Jnr. Stated”.
