Kogi pensioners are suffering untold hardship ~ Anglican Bishop

Bishop Rev’d Emmanuel Egbunu, of Anglican Diocese Church of Lokoja Kogi State, in on Sunday service said that civil servants and pensioners in Kogi State are going through untold hardship as a result of non-payment of salary and pension by the State government.

The man of God pleaded with the state government as a matter of urgency look into the situation before it gets out of hand.

He urge Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to do the right thing for the interest of peace and welfare of the civil servants in Kogi State.

He said”Both pensioners and civil servants should be given a sense of self-worth again. May God help those in power to accomplish this.”
