Gov. Introduced Sharia Court to Kogi Kogi

Sharia court has been affirmed by Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, in Kogi State.

Governor Bello resuscitate the Sharia court, by appointing and Inaugurate Hon. Justice “Abdulkarim Aruwa as Grand Qadi,Sharia Court of Appeal, of Kogi State”.

Confirming the information, Onogwu Muhammad said, the appointment is inline with “section 275 of the 1999 Constitution of the Fed.Republic of Nig. as amended”.

He said, “Kogi State Gov.Yahaya Bello Inaugurates Hon Justice Abdulkarim Aruwa as Grand Qadi,Sharia Court of Appeal,Kogi State. The gov said appointment, confirmation and inauguration of Grand Qadi was in line with section 275 of the 1999 Constitution of the Fed.Republic of Nig. as amended”.
