Kidnapper seized Bike used to delivered N1m Ransom for the secure of Chief Amusa

Kidnapper has seized the motorcycle that the person who delivered the ransom rode to the agreed delivery point, to secure the release of Chief Amusa Dunsin from the hand of his abductors.

Chief Amusa Dunsin, who was kidnapped on Monday alongside one other in Ilare, Osun State, has regain freedom from the hand of the abductors.

Dunsin, the head of hunters in Ibokun, headquarters of the Obokun Local Government Area of the state, and a woman simply known as Tayo, were kidnapped along the Ilare/Esa Odo Road in Ilare.

Source close to his family who disclosed the amounts paid before he regained his freedom said that a ransom of N1m were contributed by groups and individuals in Ibokun.

Omokoshaban.com learnt that one of Dunsin’s family members took the money on a motorcycle to Oke Imesi junction and entered the forest from there.

It was said that he undergoes along kilometres journey into the forest to the Oye River area in Imesi Ile, another town in the Obokun Local Government Area, where the abductors collected the money and released their victims.

A family source said, “But they seized both his (the person who delivered the ransom) mobile phone and the motorcycle that conveyed him there. Dunsin and the other abducted woman are back to their families.

“The Ibokun community contributed the money paid to the kidnappers. Individuals and groups assisted the family to raise the money.”

Comfiming the development, The lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Mr Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, said that Chief Amusa Dunsin, has been set free by his abductors.
