NASARAWA STATE GOVT. CREATES FOUR(4) NEW CHIEFDOMS

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) has approved the request of Governor Tanko Almakura for the creation of additional four (4) chiefdoms in the state. The chiefdoms are
1.GUDI CHIEFDOM.2.MUSHA
3.GITATA
4.GUDE CHIEFDOM.

(1).GUDI CHIEFDOM to be calved out of NGAH CHIEFDOM to comprised of GUDI, ARICHA, and GWADI with headquarter at GUDI.

( 2).MUSHA CHIEFDOM to be calved out of MIGILI CHIEFDOM comprising of GIDAN AUSA, ABIOGA, AJAULA, ISHUGU/ZHERUGBA with its headquarter at GIDAN AUSA.

(3). GITATA CHIEFDOM to be calved out of PANDA CHIEFDOM comprising of GITATA, ANGWAN ALURA, BUZI, DAURO, PAPERI with its headquarter at GITATA.

(4) GUDE CHIEFDOM to be calved out of DUDUGURU CHIEFDOM comprising of AKUNZA MIGILI, ATABULA and GUDE with its headquarter at AGWADE.

The sitting was presided by the Speaker RT.HON. IBRAHIM BALARABE ABDULLAHI.

the GUDI Chiefdom is in Akwanga LGA. MUSHA and GUDE chiefdoms are in OBI LGA while GITATA chiefdom is KARU LGA.

The house at its sitting also amend the state LG law 2018.which gives room for creation of chiefdoms in the state from 1st class up to forth (4th) class.

The bill for the creation of the new chiefdoms received Accelerated passage from the house and all the new 4 chiefdoms are of 3rd class status. Similarly, the house during it’s emergency sitting today Friday passed into law “A Bill For a Law to Amend the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency Law 2009”.
