President Muhammad Buhari has approved N1. 001 billion as a traveling for 2019.
The 2019 budget approved earlier this week before his 2nd term inauguration revealed that Buhari would be spending N751.296 million to travel around the world and another N250. 021 million for traveling around Nigeria.
The budget also show that his Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will be spending N217.060 million on foreign travelings and another N83. 74 million traveling around Nigeria.
N3.822 billion was allocated for the maintenance of mechanical/electrical installations in the Villa.
On the budget, N576. 747 million was allocated for maintenance, such as replacement of vehicles, spares part and tyres in the presidential CVU, security/police escort and State House operational fleet.
N395. 834 million is allocated for the construction of the Presidential Wing of the State House Clinic, and N395. 834 million would be used for constructing office.
N164. 176 million on honourarium and sitting allowance, for the President, and N25 .652 million for meals and refreshments.
N 433. 457 million is allocated to the office of chief of security officer for purchasing security and operational vehicles.
N798.856 million, is allocated to the State House Medical centre, drugs and medicals supplies takes N208. 350 million and N 244.364 million are to be spent on buying health and medical equipment.
N27. 463 million for Conversion and upgrading of Villa Ranch and construction of wildlife conservation, while N11. 865 million is allocated for rehabilitation of animal enclosure and procurement of Vet Lab equipment.
N8,580,741 will be spend to purchase books in the 2019 fiscal year for the Office of the President. While, purchase of newspaper will consumed N26, 432, 346, and buying of magazines have N3, 511,909 allocated for it.
