Senator Ben Murray Bruce blast his Senate members for rejecting a ‘proposed right of retuning bill’ to make a provision for black people living in diaspora to get Nigerian citizenship.
The senator in his tweet said, Nigerian did not have enough teachers, doctors, and other professional, but they reject his bill which will allows educated black in diaspora to get Nigerian citizenship, saying now Ghana’s has taken the same step, which Nigeria reject.
His tweet read, “We don’t have enough TEACHERS
We don’t have enough DOCTORS
We don’t have enough STEM professionals
Yet when I proposed a Right of Return Bill to allow educated Diaspora Blacks get Nigerian citizenship, the Nigeria Government Senate rejected it. Now Ghana is doing something similar to my bill”.
