Edward Onoja: Kogi Chief Of Staff in detention By IG, Over Attacks On APC Guber Aspirant, Admiral Usman Jibrin In Kogi.
IG of police has detained Edward Onoja over the claimed that he is the brain behind the attacked of former Naval chief and now APC aspirant frontline guber candidate within the FCT.
According to report from (Kogi First) “Desperate to retain the forth coming APC ticket in Kogi, averse to opposition within the ruling party, APC, Chief of Staff to the governor have been invited by the Police IG over attacks on the former Naval chief and now APC aspirant frontline guber in kogi within the FCT.
“This bring to the second attempt and onslaught against the ambition of former service chief, by the agents of kogi state government as his posters and banners were brought down during the screening of aspirants in Anyigba recently.
“Growth of many aspirants in APC into November governorship election, had given the current occupant of kogi government house, by employing different gimmicks to frustrate the internal democracy of the party through series of attacks and confrontation from its agents.
“The current attack was pre-arranged by the engagement of some hoodlums imported into Abuja by kogi chief of staff, Edward Onoja and for that reasons he had been detained.
“Admiral Usman is better positioned to take over from the incumbent governor,Alhaji Yahaya Bello due to gross maladminstration, lack of salaries and pensions as well as dearth of infrastructure In Kogi state.
The current administration has penchant for using of force through thuggery and other forceful activities, to silence both inter and intra political rivalry to scare away strong contenders.”
