Okene Bello town used to be Boko Haram satellite campus around

In demonstration of how committed the administration of governor Yahaya Bello, is to securing life and property in Kogi State, Onogwu Muhammad, thw chief press secretary to the Governor, has disclosed, Okene, Ebira town in kogi state, uses to be known as habitual home of Boko Haram is now free of the terrorist.

Muhammad, in his tweet said that as 2014/2015 over 19 Christian worshippers were killed in the church in Okene, but today those activities is now a story.

He said, “One thing you can’t take away from Bello’s led admin. in Kogi is the restoration of security. Okene that is peaceful today was once a Boko Haram satellite campus around 2014/2015 where over 19 Christian worshipers were murdered in church but today the story is diff.”
