Natasha Akpoti the social Democratic party senatorial candidate for Kogi central has disclosed the reason of her silent in the 2019 General elections.
Natasha, said this as she reflect on the violence that rock various unit on that day.
The said violence that was obvious, was said to have orchestrated by the ruling party, in other to installed their candidate by all means.
Eventually Natasha loss to Oseni Yakubu of the ruling party APC.
Upon her lost, she was granted and interview on AIT, concerning the violence, and the elections in the region. Recalling on the interview Natasha’s said, “Each time I look at this screenshot of my AIT’s interview on Kogi’s 2019 election violence… I feel sad.
This is the look of raw pain and helplessness of a resilient heart holding unto the last cord of hope.
Let them know that I held unto PEACE during the elections not because I had no capacity to fight back…
But because I VALUE every LIFE .. even of those who HURT me.
