National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) has condemned the recent cult killing in Kogi State university Anyigba, which claimed lives of over 10 students.
Reacting to the sad incident, by the Association leader, Comr. Usman Husseini Attaja, condole with the families who lost their children in the incident, and called on the university management to fine a better measure to prevent the incident from feature occurrence.
According to Attaja who made the disclosed has this to say;
“The attention of the leadership of National Association of Nigerian students kogi state chapter/National Executives of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) has been drawn to the issue of killing of our dear Nigerian students in the above named institution,
The incident is becoming a thing of normal as we can no longer assure the safety of our students in their academic environment….
We urge the head of the University Management and every meaningful stakeholder of the institution to urgently find a way of addressing this act and to formally use this means to appeal to all meaningful “security agencies” in Kogi state to come to our aid as the need has become more necessary….
We sympathize with Parents/guidance of every our students who died in the cause of the recent incident.
Finally, the Leadership of KOGI NANS JCC/NAKOSS urge every Students of Kogi State University Anyigba to avoid violence and be law abiding as all the Leadership of every Students Organizations in the State have saddled themselves with the responsibility of finding an urgent lasting solution to this unnecessary killing in our Campuses…
