Rejection of Bassa Kwomu Turuku chiefdom, Bassa relocate to Abuja

Bassa Kwomu, were said not to be pleased with the development of chiefdom Creation in Nasarawa, as result of the State Government failed to create their long standing desire chiefdom, Turuku chiefdom in Nasarawa State.

With this developments, Bassa were said to have relocated from Nasarawa State to Abuja’s.

New group emerging within Bassas Kwomu has opposed the installation of David W. Tukura as Aguma Turunku sited lack of due process and inappropriate.

The group has also appeal to entire Bassa Kwomu to forget about any chiefdom and work for return of its populace scatters across the country following skirmishes erupted in Toto LGA.

The group today 7th May 2019 paid homage to Dr. David W. Tukura the imposed Aguma to brief him over their stand and opposition to his rumour ascension as Aguma Turunku.
