Their strong allegation that over N500 million has been collected as bribe by the kogi State monarch before reintroducing Bello to president Muhammad Buhari, as the candidate of their choice for Kogi Governorship election come 16th November 2019.
Kogi monarch today meet with president Muhammad Buhari, along with Governor Yahaya Bello and Edward Onoja, to reintroduced Bello as the candidate of their choice for kogi state governorship election come November 16th 2019.
According to the Monarch who speak to the newsmen after the meeting said, social media bragging that they are playing politics, the monarch debunked the claimed said, they are been realistic.
The monarch statement read “Some people in the social media are already saying we are playing politics, we are not playing politics we are being realistic. We came to reintroduce our governor to the president and demanded for normal support since they belong to the same party, the issue of endorsement is not here, the people at home have already endorsed His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for second term, so we don’t need to re-endorsed him in Abuja here,”.
Meanwhile their serious allegation against the monarch, that they have collected over N500 Millions from governor before they accompanied him to Abuja to see president Muhammad Buhari.
According to the source who don’t want his name to mentioned said, when monarch decide to make u-turn from supporting BELLO, the governor invite the monarch threatened then that he going to dethroned anyone who did not support his second term bids.
