Thugs beat up Oshiomhole Younger brother, Edo lawmakers-elect in Benin

Violent seem to have taken over the crisis rocking the Edo state House of Assembly as physical confrontation is what was going now

Some Suspected political thug’s bounced on lawmakers-elect in the state’s legislative house

Some of the law-maker which was reported to have been beaten by the thugs is Seidu Oshiomole, the younger brother to APC national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

According to the report from Nigerian Tribune, the law-maker numbering 15 including Mr. Seidu Oshiomhole representing Etsako West 11 in the Edo state House of Assembly, were having a meeting Benin City, Edo state capital when they were attacked by some suspected political thugs.

On the attacked, some of the law-maker sustained serious degree of injuries, and they are currently been treated in an undisclosed hospital.

In the recent time, Edo state House of Assembly were said to be in crisis as a result of fictionalisation of the APC in Edo state, which some factions are in support of Gov. Obaseki, while other faction seem to be against the governor, in support of Adam Aliyu Oshiomole.

Details of how the incident happen goes, the 15 lawmakers that was attacked were the loyalist to the APC national chairman,Adam Aliyu Oshiomole.

This law-maker were said not be invited to the inauguration of the state assembly on Monday, June 17, where nine members reportedly elected Honourable Frank Okiye as Speaker.

On the said attacked, During the elected legislators who pledge to stop the emergence of Okiye, the loyalist of Governor Godwin Obaseki, were seriously beaten up by the thugs.
