Two person killed and four others sustained various degrees of injuries, as unknown gunmen attacked Kotonkarfe local government area of Kogi state.
Our correspondent learn that the gunmen invade the community and started shooting sporadically, unfortunately one person identified as Danladi died instantly, while Dunjuma among of the four people rush to the hospital died in the hospital.
Confirming the report, Ahmed Tinjani Hassan who share the information said, the incident take place on Sunday 23rd of June 2019.
According him, “Sunday and Monday was a bad sad day in Koton karfe, Yesterday,five (5)men’s was short by kidnapper’s, but one(1)died instantly,four (4) was injured and rushed to hospital,but this event we lost another person again, which is (Danjuma),Danladi & Danjuma ,may your soul rest I. Perfect peace and may Allah forgive your short coming and grant them jannatul fir’dauce,.”
Recalled that Omokoshaban.com earlier report that Bassa Kwomu militia threatened to attacked Kotonkarfe, according to the report, Bassa Kwomu militias said they learn that their tribe are marginalized politically, as such they are coming to put things straight.
