IPOB Give Conditions before to support the establishment of RUGA settlement”

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has given a conditions which federal government of Nigeria must meet, if they want them to support Ruga settlement.

Speaking unbehalf of the by Precious K Nyako, said that,”

1. If the federal government will apologize to IPOB and RADIO BIAFRA, as well as fund the establishment of indigenous radio stations for the non-exhaustive list of about 300 Ethnic Groups in Nigeria, THEN I SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RUGA SETTLEMENT. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

2.Fulanis inherit cows to shepherd, we inherit lands to farm or build on. Who buys fertilizer, farming utensils or building materials for land owners that government will now make it her duty to acquire our lands for the herdsmen? Can you even compare the value of perishable cows to imperishable lands?

1. If the fedral government is willing to also spend billions in like manner, equal or higher than the amount budgeted for RUGA settlement on all the businesses we have in the business sector to benefit other business owners too, THEN I SUPPORT RUGA SETTLEMENT. What is so special about the Fulani herdsmen?
2. If the government can delinate to us ONLY ONE MAJOR ARREST made as a result of herdsmen atrocities (especially from Miyetti Allah leadership that fearlessly own up to herdsmen crime as well as issue serious threats), THEN I SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RUGA SETTLEMENT.

We have the new minimum wage to pay.
We have our security systems to upgrade.
We have refineries to build.
We have poverty to tackle.
We are in dire need of greater infrastructural development.
We need quality education.
We need better healthcare, etc.

Why so much interest on the herdmen?”
