Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has promised to commenced the construction of Dekina Road, in Kogi Local government area of Kogi state.
Bello said this today as he pay a visit to the Paramount ruler of Dekina.
Onogwu Muhammad the chief press secretary to the governor said, “The road in Dekina was constructed in 1961. Since then, the road has not received any genuine government attention in its deplorable state till date but you are here to start the construction of Dekina Road.
In terms of security, Dekina has received tremendous assistance from your Government. I know that God that brought you to power still remain on His throne. You are an Elephant. Don’t listen to rumour. Remain focus and our ancestors are with you both day and night. In Dekina Local Govrnment Area, We have 4 first class Chiefs, courtesy of your effort and the recognition and respect you accorded traditional institution in Kogi State.-Eje of Dekina, HRH Usma Obaje while receiving Gov Yahaya Bello today at his palace”.
