Kwara state Governor pleaded with workers over salaries delay

Kwara state Governor has pleaded with the SUBEB workers over the delay in paying their salaries. The Governor made the plead through his chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, today 8th of July 2019.

Ajakaye said that “Public Advisory on SUBEB Workers

“We note the public concerns over the delay in the payment of SUBEB workers. The delay is due to the challenges banks were having implementing the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) directives.

Government has however resolved the issues.

The workers should have their money between today and tomorrow.

We also wish to state that workers at all levels — including LG workers — got their 100% pay for the month of June — the first time in many months!”
