Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel will tomorrow, Thursday, July 11, 2019, swear in 19 Commissioners and two Special Advisers.
The event is slated to hold at Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo by noon.
Recall that at Plenary on Thursday, July 4, 2019, the State House of Assembly confirmed the nomination of 19 Commissioners and Two Special Advisers designates after a screening by the House Committee on Judiciary, Justice, Human Rights and Public Petitions, saying it observed no adverse report against the nominees.
The House added that nominees have met the constitutional requirements for appointment as Commissioners as outlined in Section 192 (4) and 106 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
