Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello has presented his expression of interest and nomination forms for the Nov 16 Kogi State governorship election to the party Stakeholders while urging other aspirants to do same.
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, on their own side reassured Governor Yahaya Bello of smooth and landslide victory in November 16 Guber Polls in the state, adding that the APC will win the election. The stakeholders gave the reassurance Saturday, 20 July 2019 during a meeting in Lokoja where the Governor formally presented his expression of interest and nomination forms to the stakeholders.
Present at the meeting were Sen Jibrin Isah Echocho representing Kogi East, Sen Yakubu Oseni representing Kogi Central, Sen Smart Adeyemi, Rt. Hon Mathew Kolawole, Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ahmed Mohammed, Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Abdullahi Bello, APC Chairman, Kogi State, Hon Hadi Ametuo, Former Chairman of the APC, Rt. Hon Abdullahi Bello, Former Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Engr Abubakar Ohere Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and chieftaincy affairs, 21 Party local government Chairmen, 239 ward chairmen, 21 local government administrators, 525 women leaders of the APC across the state, State, Zonal and local government advisory council chairmen, political appointees and top government officials.
