Their was claimed by Kogi East APC zonal Chairman Ahmed Attah, that some People Democratic party PDP youth has defected to APC, ahead of November 16th governorship election in the State.
A report by Yahaya Idris Stated that the youth claimed that PDP leaders denied them Physical dividend, as such they decides to revert to APC to enjoyed the dividend from Yahaya Bello administration.
Idris said “Hon. Ahmed Attah, Kogi East Zonal Chairman and leader of Ahmedattah Newdirectionteam received PDP defection from 27 electoral wards in Anyigba, Dekina LGA, a University community.
“The group stated that they decided to pit tent with Hon. Ahmed Attah political family as to also benefits from GYB physical dividends of democracy which their former failed PDP leaders denied them when they were in power”.
Recall that Senator Dino Melaye has earlier warn Kogi people to be awere of fake defectors that is going to be orchestrated by Governor Yahaya.
