Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has adjourned the hearing of our case to 19th August for adoption of final written address.

Fellow Constituents,

Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has adjourned the hearing of our case to 19th August for adoption of final written address.

I was excited at the level of maturity shown by supporters of all parties during the period of preliminary hearings. It was a thing of joy for me to know that our people have realised that no meaningful development could be achieved amidst rancour.

I remain who l am and what l am known for. Peaceful coexistence has been my watchword, I will continue to do everything humanly possible to sustain that and equally complement the effort of the state government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello in ensuring a crime free Kogi Central.

The ongoing judicial process is a prerequisite in the entrenchment of democracy worldwide. I therefore hold no malice nor grudges against anyone, whether petitioners or witnesses. This is democracy in action and it’s expected.

Like, I always say, that the Almighty God gives power to whom ever He wishes and not by ability. What I promised my constituents is to make a difference in the National Assembly and ensure they enjoy the dividends of democracy which has eluded them for decades. I have hit the ground running already in a bid to fulfill the promises.

I therefore announce to all and sundry that I have since overcome the temptation of making enemies in politics. I am for all and our doors are always open to meaningful suggestions on how best Kogi Central could be taken to the next height of development.

Therefore, for comments and suggestions, you can reach me on this… [email protected]
