“Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon of Banner of solution Assembly, number 1, Banner way, off Uwaifo street, off Siluko road, Egor local government area, chose not only to deprive his church members the opportunity to get vaccinated, but took time to call out the national vaccinators out in his church and totally watered them down with insults using very uncomplimentary languages right in the church and in the presence of his members. He even went as far as to demonize the vaccines”

Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon of the Banner of Solution Christian Assembly, has been reported to have humiliated health workers who came to vaccinate children in his church for free in his church.

Report send to our read, “What manner of a pastor would deliberately humiliate health workers who came to vaccinate children in his church for free?

“It so disgusting that an ill informed self acclaimed church owner and his wife, Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon of the Banner of Solution Christian Assembly, chose the most dishonorable path by deliberately calling health workers who came to his church to freely vaccinate children on a Sunday, abused them at the alter with uncut languages and lied to the congregation that polio
Vaccine, will kill the people who take it especially the children.

Pastor Emmanuel was so emphatic in this assertions, made the vaccinators, completely confused.

So sad, Mr. Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon, invited the vaccinators to the alter as if he wanted to introduced them to his church congregants, instead he watered them with insults using terrible unprintable languages on them and finally concluded that anybody who allowed his or her child to be immunized by them, will have their children killed by it.

Meanwhile, it is on record prior to this day, that a formal letter was written to this same church and was dully received and signed for, by the church secretary on the 9th of July, 2019. Informing this church of the event.

Him or his church, did not object to it.

The executive chairman, Egor local government area, Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia on her part, had organized a task force meet with health experts from National, state and local government level, security operatives within Egor local government area, traditional leaders in Egor, Muslim leaders and the chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N) Egor chapter represented the entire christian circle in Egor local government area.

The main purpose, Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia, the executive chairman, Egor local government area, organized the meet, was to raise awareness about the program and the safety of the vaccine by members of the taskforce to the people in their respective organizations and domains.

The fact that the vaccines are free and the pastor is a member of C.A.N, makes it ludicrous that Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon of Banner of solution Assembly, number 1, Banner way, off Uwaifo street, off Siluko road, Egor local government area, chose not only to deprive his church members the opportunity to get vaccinated, but took time to call out the national vaccinators out in his church and totally watered them down with insults using very uncomplimentary languages right in the church and in the presence of his members. He even went as far as to demonize the vaccines.

The lie that children who get vaccinated would die thereafter, was the height of the pastor’s complete ignorance on basic health issues especially on polio vaccination.

Upon the intervention by the national health development officers on ground, he still chose to insult the vaccinators and deprive children in his church from taking part in the free polio vaccination program organized by the National health body in conjunction of World Health Organization.(W.H.O) and Edo state government.

Painfully, Mr. Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon was dully informed about the consequences of his ignorant perception on polio vaccines and his deliberate deprivation of vaccinators, the chance to vaccinate children in his church and he and his wife was quoted to have said ” nothing they happen” in pidgin English.

It is important to note, the matter has since been reported to the deputy governor of Edo state, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu and notices of the gross misconduct of Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon has been sent to Abuja as his behavior is tantamount to preventing the concise national plans to eradicate polio in Egor local government area in particular and Nigeria in general.

At the local level, the police has since been notified of the ignorant and uncivilized attitude of Pastor Emmanuel Igiehon and his wife towards immunization against polio in Egor local government area.”
