Wambai Commends Governor Bello on Security of lives and property of the people which led to the nabbing of kidnap kingpins in his Constituency

The member Representing the good people of Lokoja/ Kogi Koton- Karfe Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the Federal House of Representative, Hon. Abdulkarim Isah Usman, has commended His Excellency the most security conscious Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, on his sustained commitment to securing the lives and property of the people of his constituency and the state at large.

The Wambai Igu Koton-Karfe Kingdom who said this against as the backdrop of the successes recorded in the arresting the sudden kidnapped cases in his constituency which led to several kidnap kingpins being napped lately and others are at large.

Hon. Wambai stated that the provision adequate security of lives and property is the sole responsibility of government at all levels, hence the huge investment by the present administration ably led by the peoples Governor stressing that were the past administration given this area the needed attention the huge resources committed by the government would have ordinarily been channelled to other meaningful projects.

“Today Kogi State has become investment haven where both local and international investors troop in large number to invest their wealth. This owing to fact that the state is now safer and better secured as know investor put his or her money where insecurity reigns stressing just recently the Ambassador of Korea was in the state to seek more partnership with the state government towards a better and prosperous Kogi, he added.

He used the medium to call on those who are bent on giving the state negative image just to score cheap political goal
discourage investors from coming to desist forth with as the development of the state is a collective responsibility.

He maintained equally that to arrest the menace of kidnapping , armed robbery or other violent crimes would require the commitment of government at all levels to provide safety nets against poverty and drug abuse assuring that his term in office as a legislature would bring programmes that would alleviate the sufferings of his people.

While commending the collaborative efforts of the conventional security agent, local vigilante and the hunters which led to the nabbing of the kidnappers in Kogi Local Government, he called for more support with useful information by the people of the communities noting that security everywhere in the world is everybody’s business. Therefore, all hands must he on deck to arrest the situation.
