Balarabe Condemns Attack On Dep. Gov’s Convoy, Prays God Expose Perpetrators

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi has condemned the attack on the convoy of Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, deputy govenor of the state.

Balarabe gave the condemnation on Wednesday in a statement signed and issued by his press secretary, Jibrin Gwamna and made available to newsmen in Lafia.

The attack along Akwanga axis of the state on Tuesday claimed the lives of three police officers, a member of the press crew and a driver.

Reacting, Balarabe who expressed deep regret over the unfortunate and barbaric act, prayed God to expose the perpertrators.

The speaker condoled with the families, relatives and friends of those who loss their lives to the incident and prayed God to repose their souls.

He emphasized that the three (3) policemen and the pilot driver who were on rescue mission to clear the road for the Deputy Governor and other road users to pass during the robbering scene died gallantly.

He thanked God that the lives of the state Deputy Governor and other people were saved.
