The Executive Chairman Abaji Area Council Ably represented by the Council Secretary, Hon. Kamal Adamu Shuaib in behalf of the Executive Chairman order for the disbursement of #30 million naira of the National Cash Transfer Facilitators for Abaji Yaba ward, north East, Rimba/Ebagi ward some part of Naharati & Nuku/Sabon-gari as people benefitted today from the scheme at Abaji East Primary School Abaji.
According to the Council Secretary, the Executive Chairman Abaji Area Council Hon. Abdulrahman Ajiya order for the disbursement of the #30 million naira of the federal government cash transfer to the less privilege people in other to reduce poverty level among abajians.It aims to reduce poverty level which has become very prevalent, affecting people at the rural areas especially female-headed households who do not have any source of income as he urge the beneficiaries to make proper use of the number and pleaded with other wards who are yet to be captured to be patient as this scheme is set to cover every individual (less privileges) .
