On behalf of the people of Lokoja /Kogi-Koton-Karfe Federal Constituency, I, Hon Abdulkarim Isah Usman Wambai heartly congratulate our young, energetic and amiable Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, and the entire new direction team, Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Mathew Kolawole, and the entire people of the state on the occasion of the 28th years of the creation of our promising Kogi State.
Certainly, with you at helms of affairs in the state within these few months, Kogi is gradually experiencing a turnaround in all facets of life. Insecurity that has almost wrecked our peace and unity as today become a thing of the past. This is possible as a result of huge investment you have made in that area.
No development is truly reflective of the people without taking the grassroots into cognizance. Your Excellency, today, you have made huge investments in the rural areas and given them hope to be committed to the development of their communities through agriculture and mines. You lighted up the communities under my Constituency by connecting them to the national grid and boosting their economic activities.
You have provided the entire our people with water and today both Lokoja and Koto are proud to identify with you. In terms of education, today with you at the helms of affairs of the state, the basic education has recorded tremendous infrastructural overhaul as can be seen everywhere. This goes equally, with the secondary and tertiary institutions.
Your Excellency Sir, in terms of appointment and projects, you have broken the barriers against fair and equitable distribution as every section of the state is being carried along.
The Health Sector has equally recorded dramatic intervention from you administration.
You have also for the first time given the youths a chance for their voices to be heard.
We from Lokoja /Kogi-Koton-Karfe Federal Constituency have resolved to reaffirm and rededicate our loyalty to your New Direction Policy with a view to bringing accelerated development in all the nooks and crannies of the state. Just as we are set to lead our Constituency to support you at the primaries and election proper in order for you to consolidate on your giant strides of achievements
I pray Almighty Allah to guide and direct you as you strive doggedly to take Kogi to an enviable heights.
