What may have been some unfounded rumour may be bearing some semblance of reality as the posters of current National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, gunning for the positions of the President and Vice President in 2023 are circulating Kaduna, the capital city of Kaduna State.
It was rumoured some weeks ago that Comrade Oshiomhole was perfecting plans to scheme former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu out of political calculations for the next presidential election.
The permutations are now looking clearer as Comrade Oshiomole is said to be closing ranks with Governor El-Rufai, who is said to command some following and clout to mobilise the North for a shot at the presidency.
The posters for the two have been spotted in different parts of Kaduna State with the campaign title: “Mandate 2023”, and are raising dust in the bustling city.
