Atiku/Buhari Tribunal Judgement. A New President Will Emerge Via Court. – Chidi Cali

It is no longer a secret that President Buhari did not meet the minimum qualification to stand for the 2019 Presidential election. It is also noted that he failed to defend himself in court or clarify why his named primary School was not in existence when he claimed that he attended it.
The Tribunal is much aware of Buhari presenting Cambridge (WASC) results that contradicted each other. Can I say that this is another Poor work from his legal team and his office?
Buhari’s witness contradicted his 12 years affidavit claims that the Army is with his Certificate. Lying under oath and presenting bogus documents to a court are serious offences that will lead to his disqualification and prosecution.

One of the five Grounds of Petition filed by Atiku Abubakar, at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, against the declaration of Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of February 23, 2019, Presidential Election is that President Buhari was not qualified to contest the election. CASE PROVED.

The second most important grounds is lying on oath, providing false information of a fundamental nature in aid of his qualification. President Muhammadu Buhari lied in his affidavit that his certificates were with the Army.
He also lied that he attended institutions that were not in existence as of the time of his claims. Lastly, President Buhari presented OLUWOLE (fake) Cambridge Certificate International Statement of Result that contradicted the WAEC result of the same examination. CASE PROVED.

President Buhari contested four different elections between 2003 to 2015 and won in 2015. In all the elections, President Buhari could not attach his certificates as claimed in his form CF001, which is a major requirement in the Electoral act, 2010 (as amended).

Section 131 (d) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 provides that: ”A person shall be qualified for election to the office of President if …(d) he has been educated up to at least school certificate levels or its equivalent”*

To be qualified, President Buhari Must produce his Primary School Certificate or his West African School Certificate or Officer Cadet Certificate (Whatever that means), since those were the qualifications he claimed in his form CF001”.

Some have argued that President Buhari can speak and write in English language, that he was former President of Nigeria. Some people have also argued that, if he was not disqualified in previous elections for failing to present his certificates as required by law in the previous contest, why now?

Everyday is for the thief, a day is for the owner of the house. The issue of qualification is strictly a matter of law and there is nothing ambiguous about it in Section 131 (d).

The decision of the court in this matter will greatly enrich our electoral process and also enhance the quality of our elected representatives.

The Nigerian judiciary is only the institution that can salvage this situation and set a precedent for future elections.

The expectations of Nigerians and the outside world is for the justices of the Appeal and Supreme Courts to put Nigeria first in their minds.

Today, the Presidency through the Information Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed re-confirmed that President Buhari has no certificate. However, this must not be an excuse to present fake documents in place of certificate(s) or lying under oath about giving the army a never-existed Certificate.
The government telling Nigerians to forgive Buhari does not make sense, as the right thing to do now is best known to the President and his handlers.

The Tribunal judges have no option than to do the needful and sack President Buhari, While Nigerians wait for apologies from him, not from unsolicited and ill-timed one from Lai Mohammed.

Nigerians have copies of the Evidence from the petition and are aware of the 1st and 3rd defendant failing to contest the allegations and overloaded Evidence.
The 2nd defendant abruptly called it day in court when his witnesses started contradicting their earlier submissions and arguments.
The defendants literally failed to contest or contradict the petition against them in their closing address thereby losing their last opportunity to keep the president in ASO Rock. – Chidi Cali
