Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello has nominated his Chief of Staff, Edward Onoja as his proposed deputy Governor for his second term bids.
The nomination was made known to the public on 7th of September 2019.
Edward Onoja is expected to take over from the present deputy Governor Achuba, if Governor Bello eventually reelected come November 16th 2019.
Recalled that Achuba, deputy Governor to Yahaya accused governor Bello of noting paying him salaries for the past three years, but Bello has denied the allegations, stating he is not owing any political office holder in kogi state.
The deputy also accused Bello of stealing Government fund, through 21 Local Government chairmans in the state.
