Breaking: Barr. Natasha loose at Appeal court

Appeal court sitting in Abuja today 18th of October 2019 has dismissed Barr. Natasha’s H. Akpoti of SDP, case challenging the elections victory that brought senator Yakubu Oseni Of APC to power.

Barr. Natasha’s, the SDP, Senatorial candidate of Kogi central Lost to Senator Yakubu Oseni of APC, in the last general elections in Kogi State.

According to the ruling, Appeal court dismissed Natasha’s of Social Democratic party (SDP) case for lack of merit.

Disclosing the final judgment, Senator Yakubu Oseni Wrote, as he address his constituency, “The appeal court today has dismissed the case of Barr. Natasha Akpoti against me for lack of merit while Senator Ogembe’s judgement is reserved till further notice.

“You would recall that the Kogi State Election Petition tribunal led by Justice Chijioke affirmed my victory on 30th August, 2019.

“However, the candidates of the Social Democratic Party (SDP ) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) approached the Appeal Court as they were not satisfied with the judgement of the tribunal court.

“My people, we are an inch away from the final judgement between Senator Ogembe and me which the court has reserved for further notice.

I therefore urge everyone of you to remain peaceful as ever. I am still affable with my doors ever open to your useful suggestions that could expedite the development of our constituency.”
