Day After Appeal court sack Wambai, Another APC Lawmakers sack in Kogi State

These seem to a tough times for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, as another APC Lawmakers sacked day after Hon. Abdukarim Usaman was sack by the appeal Court, and other the issuance of certificate of return to Shaba Ibrahim’s of PDP.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja 28th of October 2019 sacked the House of Representatives member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in Kogi state, Hon. Mohammed Lawal.

Lawal who is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was said to had earlier won at the elections petitions tribunal sitting in Lokoja.

In its ruling, the court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to conduct rerun elections in 21 polling units in the constituency.

The appeal was filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s candidate, Aloysius Okino.
