In a bid to encourage and motivate those who have been into farming, Kogi State Government through the Administrator of Adavi distributed Fertilizers to the farmers in Adavi earlier today.
The Administrator, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami while addressing the farmers before the distribution of the fertilizers, said that His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello brought the fertilizers to the people into farming free of charge. Added that, this would encourage farmers and also make it possible for them to record a bumper harvest. “Directly or indirectly it will help you to yield more, he added.
Hon Joseph further advised the beneficiaries to extend the gesture to their fellow farmers who are not opportune to benefit from it. He said, this is going to be a continuous process from the State Government to the farmers in the State at large.
Some of the farmer-beneficiaries while responding, appreciated the New Direction Government led by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for holding the farmers with high esteem, thereby increasing the standard of living of the farmers. They thanked Hon. Administrator for not diverting what is due for them as any leader without a conscience would do.
