The executives and members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Nigeria Motorcyles Riders Association have unanimously endorsed Governor Yahaya Bello and Edward Onoja of Kogi State for a second term in office.
The group says it is backing Mr Bello and Edward for entrenching peace and good governance as well as
their accommodating gesture in governance. The union members, who trooped out in their numbers to meet the Chief Administrator of Olamaboro Local Government Council Hon Adejoh Nicodemus Friday aka Adejoh Pexy in Imane, on a solidarity visit, described Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his Siamese twin brother Chief Edward Onoja as kind, accommodating, ever focused and progressive leaders, promised Hon Adejoh that “no single vote from us will miss during the governorship election”.
The chairmen of both Union, praised the governor for his “manifest of love for the union, good people of Olamaboro and visitor living in Okpo, Ogugu and Imane.” “ The union leaders said, they are happy with the recent development in the state in the area of security, since Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello came. We freely carry our passengers around without fear. We are endorsing BellOnoja to proof that the oneness that Nigerian leaders preach is in practice in Your Excellency’s domain.”
The union also commended Governor Bello and Edward “for setting the pace for enduring peace amongst the people of kogi via the adoption of EBIGO”, saying “Bello is a true representation of that leader who is ever willing to accommodate and protect kogites plying their legitimate trade under his watch in any location across the state.” Applauding the governor’s spirit of tolerance, the union said the governor did well by involving them in the governance of the state through strategic appointments and recognition especially the appointment of Hon Adejoh Nicodemus Friday as Chief Administrator of Olamaboro LGA.
They described Governor Bello as a model leader who should be emulated. “Having considered all these Your Excellency, our people unanimously raise our voices in supporting your acceptance to have a second shot at the governance of Kogi State with our benefactor, our brother, your twin Chief Edward Onoja through the instrumentality of the coming gubernatorial elections, “We lend our weight in support of your re-election project as we share the belief that when a route is good you make it twice.
Hon Adejoh, appreciate the union’s and promise to always extend the goodwill of the New direction Administration led by Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his Siamese twin brother the Deputy Governor Chief Edward Onoja, while urging the union’s leaders to take the message of togetherness and why we should come out en mass to vote Apc home, he call on the good people of Olamaboro to continue to support Chief Edward Onoja who have attracted uncommon development to the palmland.
