Owelle Okorocha wins Izunaso, Onyereri in Appeal Court

The immediate past governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha has defeated the duo of Senator Osita Izunaso and Hon. Jones Onyereri at the Appeal Court.

Owelle, whose untainted victory at the February 23rd National Assembly Elections was ill-advisedly challenged by his younger brothers from APGA and the PDP, had won series of other earlier legal challenges against his declaration as the authentic winner of the election.

With this victory at the Court of Appeal, it is expected that Izunaso, a former Senator and Chief Onyereri, a former member of the House of Representatives, shall now join hands with Owelle, who has emerged as the most vibrant Senator of the 9th Senate, in the best interest of Orlu zone and the Southeast in general.

The victory has ignited celebration across Imo State and most part of Igbo land, as various groups and individuals have expressed happiness that the African icon and influential philanthropist has once again shaken off another fundamental challenge against his well earned victory.
