Emir of Bichi paid a visit to Governor  Ifeanyi of Enugu

As a mark of respect, the Emir of Bichi, Kano State, His Highness, Aminu Ado Bayero, Thursday evening, paid a courtesy call on Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, at the Government House, Enugu.

The Emir, who is the son of the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Dr. Ado Abdullahi Bayero, is in Enugu State for the burial of his late father’s close associate from Orji River Local Government Area, late Prof. Gilbert Onuaguluchi.

The Monarch, who pointed out that “this is my first visit to the South East zone as Emir of Bichi”, expressed delight at the hospitality accorded him and his entourage by Gov. Ugwuanyi.

He noted that his late father “played a big role in cementing the relationship between the people of South East and Kano State”, adding that the visit will “remain indelible in my memory”.

The Emir, therefore, appreciated Gov. Ugwuanyi for his peace and good governance initiatives as well as his uncommon leadership style.
